“ This was my first time trying Nigerian food and I had a great experience. I ordered the egusi and fufu combo with chicken, dodo (plantains), and jollof rice to pickup. I really enjoyed everything I ordered. The egusi was really spicy and delicious. There was a healthy portion of fufu that worked well as a vehicle for the egusi. The side portion of jollof is also massive. The order was hot & ready for pickup in 20 minutes. Only complaint is that the chicken was a bit dry for my taste. I look forward to trying a different meat as well as other items on the menu next time I order. ”
“ The egusi with fish and pounded yams were absolutely delicious. The ladies that greeted me were pleasant. My meal was only$10. I will definitely be back to try more ”
“ The food i ordered was really good/spicy, the food was a lot and prices are reasonable. I think this place just opened hopefully next time I come back the place will look decent and the wait will be less than 30mins and I can sit down and dine in. I know alot african cuisines are spicy but this is a restaurant I'll suggest to have option of mild or spicy not everyone eat hot(pepper). Overall I like it. ”
“ This is truly an authentic Nigerian dining experience... for better or worst. First and foremost, the food is delicious! I ordered the Egusi with goat meat and pounded yam as well as the moin moin. Everything came in fairly big portions and was well seasoned.... very tasty. With that said, the service is SLOW and certain food items may not be available... Like I said, an authentic Nigerian dining experience. So come with your patience and all will be good. ”
“ NOW I UNDERSTAND y the chick below was singing AT LAAAAAAAAST!!! I was getting under the weather n needed spicy food and I always go african to find that... had been elsewhere days prior and food was totally bland but these folks had that standard nigerian party rice taste oh my geez i was floating and gloating. wanted to buy a carry out but cuz its so heavy and I struggled w/my seat buckle on my last flight................ yeah. SO. i had the jollof n plantain n beef and asked for extra side stew cause I can never eat rice dry regardless how tender it is. The plantain were PERFECTION... the meat uber pliable and I can taste it all coming back now. came back later for egusi n eba which is another plate I get when im getting ill for the greens n the fiber and the PEPPER. Think theyre probably one of the best authentic fares in the whole area cause I searched hi/low. Thank God I found em! As far as the wait time it really was average but when you come to these unique kind of places best bet is call ahead or ask upfront whats READY or what food they made for the day cause they never make everrrrything on the menu ”
